Barnes and Noble and the Beast
With less than a month to go until YAAL’s production of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. at the Johnny Carson Theater, the excitement is really starting to build! Sets and costumes are starting to take shape, tickets are selling fast, and of course the amazing cast of more than 40 talented young people is hard at work in rehearsals. All that’s left to do is to make sure everyone knows how wonderful this show is going to be!
To that end, a group of Beauty and the Beast, Jr. cast members dropped by the Southpointe Barnes and Noble (Belle would certainly approve of the venue!) last Friday evening to fill the store with music! Their performances of ‘Be Our Guest’ and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ left the audience wanting more — but they’ll have to wait until opening night on December 1st.
The evening was capped off by a performance from YAAL’s own improv troupe, OTES. They had the store in stitches!
