The benefits of the traditional children’s chorus model are many. With the goal of achieving a high level of musicianship and disciplined performance practice, the chorus will foster a sense of self-worth, self-esteem, leadership and pride. This children’s chorus is not affiliated with any religion and aspires to enrich the lives of children from all religious, racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
YAAL’s Community Children’s Chorus does not have a tuition fee attached. There is a required t-shirt fee ($15) and music fee ($5). Students will have the opportunity to participate in a yearly fundraiser in lieu of these fees.
YAAL’s Community Children’s Chorus is dedicated to using its voice and music to contribute to those in the community who will benefit from assistance whether it be in the form of funding or music. Through community service, this group strives to instill in our members a sense of selflessness, community awareness, and service.
