Back by popular demand, this musical comedy is an unauthorized, unorthodox, unbelievably funny retelling of the greatest science fiction saga of all time, Star Wars. Written by the creator of the popular Lincoln children’s band, THE STRING BEANS, this play had its intergalactic premiere with YAAL last year and sold out. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca and all of the classic Star Wars characters pack the stage for this epic tale from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Darth Vader sings! C-3PO dances!! Yoda talks backwards!!! Set your blasters on “fun!”
Please note that this production is based upon a slightly different version of the show performed last year and includes material that may not be suitable for younger children.

The popular pint-sized, pin-striped classic leaps off the silver screen and onto the stage. Like the film, this wild and wacky musical includes a child’s dream come true: a classic pie fight fought with “splurge blasters” which spew forth “silly string” instead of pies! You’ll thrill to the rat-a-tat-tat action, brilliant Roaring 20’s songs and zany comedy of this high energy musical! Lots of fun roles for boys, girls, singers, and non-singers.
