YAALsing Children’s Chorus
Registration is open for the Spring 2019 session!
Have fun, learn to sing, and give back to the community through performing with YAALsing, YAAL’s community children’s chorus! Songs will be a mix of contemporary pop songs and traditional choir music. Our chorus members represent schools all over the city of Lincoln. This children’s chorus is not affiliated with any religion and aspires to enrich the lives of children from all religious, racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds.
YAALsing does not have a tuition fee attached. There is a required t-shirt fee ($10) and music fee ($5). Our sheet music is copyrighted, so we have to purchase a set for each student. If you participated in the last session of chorus, you do not need to pay another t-shirt fee, unless you need a different size. Be sure to bring your music folder back so we can fill it with our new songs!
This year’s chorus is limited to 25 students, who must be in 2nd grade or up.

Hannah Lambert is a Lincoln native who studied Music Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she performed in various ensembles including University Singers, Big Red Singers, and the Cornhusker Marching Band. During her time at UNL, Hannah also co-founded a women’s a cappella group, Boots & Cats. Hannah grew up loving to sing, perform, and play make-believe. She is passionate about youth, and about seeing young people grow through involvement in performing arts.
Hannah has served as a music director for children’s theatre productions, including YAAL’s productions of Elf Jr. and The Secret Garden, and has worked long-term as the Assistant Director of the LPS All-City Girls Chorus. Currently, Hannah is a vocal music teacher at Moore Middle School in Lincoln. She is thrilled to be a part of the YAAL family as the director of YAAL-SING, YAAL’s community children’s chorus.
YAAL aspires to instill commitment and responsibility in all of our young people. Therefore, please make the chorus director aware of any conflicts prior to the rehearsal that will be missed.
The chorus uniform consists of the YAALsing t-shirt and jeans, and it only needs to be worn during performances.
