There are many ways to get involved with YAAL and also earn community service hours. YAAL friends and alumni are always looking for ways to volunteer and here’s how you can get involved in volunteering at YAAL!

Production Volunteers

For our various productions, we are often looking for volunteers to fill positions that can lead to a paid position in the future! Volunteer opportunities include technical positions, rehearsal assistants, costumes, props, painting, set design, etc. Our volunteer opportunities are also a part of our educational theatre experience where older youth can learn more about the full range of the theatre experience! We are an inclusive theatre and welcome special needs youth to assist and adults who would like to contribute their time and talents. If you’re interested, send a resume via email to info@yaal.org.

Volunteer Days

Occasionally we organize a volunteer day to clean the whole theatre space! If you would like to be on our distribution list for volunteer days, please email info@yaal.org. When we do a full cleaning, we do everything from sorting and organizing to washing and scrubbing!

Board of Directors

Our board is a full volunteer working board of at least need four board members, including President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and board members-at-large. Board positions are considered through an application and approval by the Board of Directors. If you are interested in a board position, email president@yaal.org for an application.
